Project:-  Corner Farm

Cotswold Archaeology has been excavating at the site of the new nuclear power station at Hinkley Point in Somerset on behalf of EDF Energy.

Hinkley Point C nuclear power station is currently being built on the former site of a mid 19th century farmhouse with traces of a probable medieval house underneath. It seems to have been the descendant of a farm with late Iron Age beginnings.
